Our members are a wonderful group of people who love sport aviation. Many of our members are actively building or restoring experimental and vintage aircraft. The FBO on the field, Poplar Grove Airmotive, offers two tail draggers, a Piper Cub and a Cessna 140 for flight training. As a result Chapter 1414 is a hot bed of tail wheel pilots and aircraft. Chapter 1414 is closely aligned with the Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum located on the field. The Museum sponsors the Youth Exploring Aviation (YEA) in bringing aviation to area youth. If you are a Young Eagles pilot, this is the EAA chapter for you. We actively support the Young Eagle mission with our many volunteer pilots. Sound interesting?
