Directions to Poplar Grove Airport:

From Belvidere, Illinois, go north on Route 76 (Fairgrounds Road) approximately 3.5 miles, and turn right at Orth Road. Orth is the east/west road just north of the Airport. Make the first right turn about 300 yards east of Rt. 76, and the Museum is the big stone hangar about 200 yards south of Orth. The entrance is on the south side of the hangar.

August 11, 2008: EAA 1414 Monthly Meeting held at the Museum on Poplar Grove Airport. Map here. 7:00 PM.

August 17, 2008: Poplar Grove Airport hosts it's annual Fly-In Pancake Breakfast. The feast will be held in the main maintenance hangar as usual with all the trimmings. Fire truck rides to the Museum and ample parking for your plane or car. A treat for the entire family, don't miss this one!

August 30-September 1, 2008: Labor Day Weekend Fly-In Drive In at Ken & Polly's Abel Island Retreat.
