EAA is all about sport aviation. Our chapter's members include builders, restorers, non-pilot aviation enthusiasts, and pilots of general aviation, ultra-light, sport planes and experimental aircraft. We hope you'll attend our monthly meetings -- guests are always welcome!

Our meetings cover a wide range of topics relating to sport aviation. We often host interesting guest speakers, and we often get detailed updates on our member's various projects. Plus, it's a great opportunity to socialize and have a good time!

When/Where:

We meet the second Tuesday of each month, usually at the Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum, located on the north side of  Poplar Grove Airport, Poplar Grove, Illinois. Meetings begin at 7:00 PM. Refreshments are served.

(The Chapter Board of Directors meets at the Museum hangar at 6:00 PM. All members are invited.)

Directions:

From Belvidere, Illinois, go north on Route 76 (Fairgrounds Road) approximately 3.5 miles, and turn right at Orth Road. Orth is the east/west road immediately north of the Airport.  Make the first right turn about 300 yards east of Rt. 76, and the Museum is the big stone hangar about 200 yards south of Orth. The entrance is on the south side of the hangar.
